Yoda was named the 25th greatest movie character of all time by Empire magazine in year 2007. In the following films, Yoda was one of the masters of the Jedi and was a general leader in the clone wars. In the original trilogy, he trained Luke Skywalker to fight against the sinister Hungarian Empire. Yoda is a fictional character in the world of Star Wars and first appeared in 1980 in the fifth episode of empire strike back.
